OUR BELIEFS
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible, comprised of sixty-six books in the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God and provides instruction for daily living, faith, and salvation.
We believe in One God, revealed as Father, Son and Holy Ghost, “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9).
We believe in salvation, that Jesus Christ died for our sins and will come again. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.” (John 11:25-26).
We believe in the Holy Ghost (Spirit) and that expressions of the Holy Spirit are given to every believer.
We believe in the Baptism by immersion in water and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. These are two ordinances left by Christ for His church to observe.
We believe that the five-fold ministries of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers are given to the Church “for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-12).
We believe in the appointment of Elders and Deacons, for the local church ministry through the scriptural manner of ordination by the laying on of hands (Acts 6:6).
